The fourth studio album by guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, released on 8 April 1988. The album reached No. 40 on the US Billboard 200 and remained on that chart for eighteen weeks, as well as reaching the top 50 in five other countries. I recommend.

The first Yngwie's album I had as a kid and still one of his best. Perfect blend of melodic and catchy hard rock and AOR with neoclassical shred and power metal. I wish Joe Lynn Turner and Johansson brothers stayed in Rising Force a lot longer...

Yngwie's commercial peak and his quest for Top 40 relevance. By far not his best release and the guitar is toned down quite a bit from his earlier releases. But if you like top 40 catchy songs with some fancy guitar built in, go for it. Othersie, his first 3 are much better bets from a metal guitar standpoint. Features Joe Lynn Turner on vocals.
