Description:
This album stands the test of time, as it was made in the 80s and it's core concepts not only remain true today, but appear to be more relevant with each passing electoral cycle. This concept album preceded 'Empire' and established Queensryche as an intelligent, complex and fierce heavy metal band, The music is excellent and relentless, the plot of the album is very believable, and the mix of sound-bytes sprinkled throughout the album, mostly in the form of song transitions, is brilliant.

To expect anything worthwhile from the group that released their last decent album 16 years ago was completely nonsense. And do not be embarrassed by the pretentious name of the disc. The album is mediocre. At best, this is a stylization for the classic "Operation: Mindcrime". Yes, the solo losses have returned, the arrangements are close to the original, but melodically the work does not withstand any criticism. The attempt to leave on the great heritage ended in complete failure.

What can be said about this album that hasn't be said before? A complex, yet intriguing story, developed as a prog metal soundtrack of the highest quality. It's still relevant. The bar was set high with this record.

Heavy Metal concept album released 30 years ago from now. But this album was their best album. Since then, it has gradually regressed, and it is refreshing recently.
