After their first album made the Crash Test Dummies huge in their home country Canada, their second album meant their big break in the USA and Europe, thanks to the self-consciously bizarre lyrics and the deep baritone voice of singer/songwriter Brad Roberts, demonstrated in their worldwide top ten hit "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm". - .. This BIEM/GEMA Sonopress version has a silver/solid center mould hub, it is similar to [r8259796], which is also with a silver center mould hub, but has mastering AND mould sid code. Both not to be mixed up with BIEM/GEMA Sonopress versions - [r5562515] and - [r8140905], which have beside other differences both a clear center mould hub. The majority of this album was recorded at Music Head Recording in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The drums, bass, piano, and guitars on "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm", and the drums and bass on "Swimming In Your Ocean" were recorded at DV Productions in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Some additional keyboard overdubs were recorded at Mindscape in Chicago, Illinois. The material for this album was first demoed at God Of Thunder Studios. Mixed at Music Head Recording.
