Ladyhawke (AKA New Zealand girl Pip Brown) was raised in the 80's with a musical family and grew up listening to the likes of Stevie Nicks, Deep Purple and Joan Jett. Beginning as the drummer in a school band, Pip plays four different instruments on her debut album. She moved to Sydney a few years back and then moved to London in 2007 where she wrote and recorded the album. Pip wrote, arranged and plays on all the songs on the album working alongside several guest producers. 'Magic', 'Another Runway', 'My Delirium', 'Morning Dreams' and 'Dusk Till Dawn' were produced with her chief collaborator, world-renowned producer Pascal Gabriel. 12 tracks. Universal. 2008.
