HYUNG RAE K. - 27/May/2022 5 of 5 Stars!
It helped that a producer like Rick Rubin could come in and make order out of chaos, much like he did with Slayer's best albums. He's one of the few producers who can take bands that make music as jagged as SOAD create and stitch it into a complete and coherent album. When this kind of sound was all the rage in 2001 (think Korn, Rage and Deftones), "Toxicity" was the album that stood above the crowd in terms of sheer originality and stylistic verve.

When i was young and some songs out of this album were being played everywhere i did enjoy them but i didn't like the album as a whole. Well, i was wrong. An amazing fusion of political lyrics and heavy music makes for a very powerful records that always makes me feel invigorated. I feel this album has stood the test of time and got some excellent grades!!

Vladislav M. - 20/May/2020 5 of 5 Stars!
It was this album that became the finest hour for the band, although I prefer the first more aggressive album. The record was sold in a crazy print run, and the gang discovered truly large halls. The magnificent 2000s...

Certainly one of the best albums of this band. But with the fact that this is nu metal I strongly disagree. SOAD is absolutely original, they have no analogues, and if there are, then they are either too pathetic, or they are in a deep underground. Very high quality music performed by truly professional musicians. Most of all, the combination of wild, primitive aggression with ethnic melodic losses and excellent Caucasian double-voice excites and strikes. Both Tankiyan and Malakyan are great vocalists who have found their niche and created a unique atmosphere in their songs. Summing up, we can say that SOAD is really a very worthy team, which undoubtedly stands out against the background of, excuse me, the crap that is happening on the world’s difficult stage.
