Recorded for United Artists Records, this concept album featured classic songs such as 'Ejection', 'The Right Stuff' and 'The Widowmaker' interwoven with humorous satirical dialogue from Calvert, Jim Capaldi and Viv Stanshall. The musical guests include Hawkwind, Arthur Brown and Brian Eno, making for a unique and legendary album. Atomhenge. 2009.
Originally released in 1975. Track 18 recorded at Olympic Studios on 17th August 1973 - previously unreleased. Tracks 19, 20 A & B sides of single - released as United Artists UP 35543 in 1973. Recording Studios: - Island - Olympic - Radio Luxembourg (Dialogue) Recorded between March 1973 and January 1974. Re-mixed at Trident Studios. 24-bit digital remastering from the original analogue master tapes at The Audio Archiving Company. This compilation © 2009 Cherry Red Records under license from EMI Records UK. All tracks ? 1974 EMI Commercial Markets and licensed from EMI Commercial Markets. Made in the EU.
