Description:Jetzt gibt es die Der Doktor und das liebe Vieh - Specials die zu Weihnachten 1983 und 1985 erstmals ausgestrahlt wurden auch mit dem deutschen Ton. Die beiden traumhaften Episoden in Spielfilmlänge bilden die Verknüpfung zwischen Staffel 3 und Staffel 4 der Serie und sind somit unentbehrlich für die gesamte Der Doktor und das liebe Vieh - Reihe.
Was geschah mit James Herriot, Siegried Farnon, Tristan und der Tierarztpraxis in Darrowby während des 2. Weltkrieges? Die beiden Teile von The Lord God Made Them All geben Antwort darauf. James wird zum Kriegsende aus der Armee ausgemustert und kehrt nach Yorkshire zurück. Schnell dreht sich für ihn, Siegfried und Tristan wieder alles um den Alltag in der ländlichen Tierarztpraxis. Sie freuen sich zwar, dass sie wieder alle vereint sind, haben jedoch auch gleich wieder mit den üblichen und auch neuen Ärgernissen zu kämpfen. Darrowby und auch die Menschen haben sich verändert und es bedarf erst wieder eine Zeit der Eingewöhnung. Nach den Wirren des 2. Weltkrieges gehen die Tierärzte neuen Zeiten entgegen.
