Description:Vinyl reissue of studio album by American jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Miles Davis, originally released on July 30, 1969, produced by Teo Macero. The album has been recorded in one session on February 18, 1969, at CBS 30th Street Studio in New York City. Incorporating elements of classical sonata form, Macero edited and arranged Davis's recordings from the session to produce the album. Marking the beginning of his "electric" period, In a Silent Way has been regarded by music writers as Davis's first fusion recording, following a stylistic shift toward the genre in his previous records and live performances. -

Casey R. - 18/Feb/2023 5 of 5 Stars!
Such a special album by the master Miles Davis. One of the most beautiful albums that I have ever heard. It's hard to believe that this is the same band that would go on to create the chaos that is Bitches Brew. Truly a special album that should be heard.

Alexander Ivanovich S. - 08/Jul/2021 4 of 5 Stars!
This is the another masterpiece from the great jazzman! The release contains the 16-page booklet. The sound is great too.

Robert S. - 23/Mar/2021 5 of 5 Stars!
There are not enough stars to rate this high enough. Super historically significant timeless classic. The experimentation and how he drew it our of his people was truly brilliant here.

Ivica S. - 17/Nov/2019 5 of 5 Stars!
ORIGINAL ALBUM - but, for me, this is probably the most copied style of jazz in the last 30 years or more ... Highly recommend
