Coming from the Lyon area (France), REVENGE (Allusion to KISS) is a band that has been active since November 1995. It is made up of five members whose mean age is about 30, all of them stemming from different local-scene outfits: DIXIT, OZONE, FAHRENHEIT... The band took a break between many concerts in order to record it's first album. This resulted in ten titles of a good fatty Rock 'N' Roll that is clearly influenced by AC/DC, BANG TANGO or XYZ. Sung in English, "Handle with Care" was recorded in 1999 for the Brennus label. After a singer change, REVENGE recorded it's second opus "Under Pressure" (2001), followed by "Sticked to Your Back" (2003). Back to Brennus, the band has worked hard on their fourth effort, entitled "eXplicit" (2005). And the least we can say, even after a first listening, is that this is a perfect anniversary present for the first decade of existence of REVENGE !
