Vintage private eye grooves from the man who penned the soundtrack to 12 Angry Men and the TV series 77 Sunset Strip and Mission: Impossible. Rooms is a claustrophobic concept piece based on isolation and self-examination. The Sound of New York mixes standard tunes with specially-written mood pieces to create a glorious travelogue in the Big Apple. With sleeve-notes from MOJO's Dave Henderson. Righteous.
