"Point of entry" is a good album typical of Judas Priest of that time. There is a wonderful, well-coordinated performance of all musicians in this album. But, which came out directly behind “British steel”, “Point of entry” is inevitably perceived as a decline in creativity. And not because the album is bad, but because "British steel" has raised the bar very high.

Good edition, good sound, but is not the best album from JP!

Such a good album - Priest in 80es - after all, JUDAS PRIEST are METAL GODS - so, I recommend

Despite the fact that this album is not in many ways similar to the other works of musicians, one cannot say that this is a failed job. JUDAS PRIEST, undoubtedly, softened their sound (which, in fact, upset the fans of the group), and the arrangement is different, although, for my taste, not much. The quality of the recording does not upset, the technique also does not fail (if to speak in general). JP's melodiousness has not diminished, which is undoubtedly a plus. Uh This album is instrumental in many respects, but nevertheless the critics did not bring it to the pillory (as, for example, it will be with the album "Turbo" (1986). But the album still lacks diversity, the compositions are sometimes quite similar to each other. Heading Out to the Highway "," Desert Plains ". The rest, in general, is not bad, but requires some refinement in the compositional and textual plans. And yet this album cannot be put on the last place in the discography of JP.

One of the weakest albums from Priest, but still with fine tunes like Desert Plains, Hot Rockin and Heading Out to the Highway.

Sound: "Point of Entry" was a point of experimentation for Judas Priest. As the album that followed "British Steel", it wasn't expected to be as much ...

Un buen disco. No es el mejor de Judas Priest, menos cuando es el sucesor del grandioso British Steel. Pero es esencial en su discografía. Esta versión de la serie "The Remasters" incluye dos pistas adicionales.
