Two fantastic releases in one! Savatage's debut album and their follow up EP. You can't get more classic than this era of the band. Still raw and relentless. So glad I could snatch this version for such a small amount.

I used to have Savatage's EP The Dungens are calling on the vinyl. Amazing work! I always regreted it was too short, wonderind why Sirens and The Dungens are calling were not released as a one solid LP. When I discover this edition, I immediately ordered it. After I got it, I read they, were recorded in one session and the songs were supposed to form Savatage's debut LP. It came to long for vinyl, so it was cut in two! The edition comes in digi format. Sounds great. It has a bonus track, recorded by John Oliva in 2010.

In general, the album is very good (it's hard to challenge this, having before you the whole Savatage career). For the most part - vigorous scrap high-speed heavy, which is primarily remembered thanks to branded vocals (Rage, I Believe, Living For The Night). But here and there even then the musicians went beyond the boundaries outlined - in Holocaust or On The Run, you can, if you want, and find a changing rhythm, and solos are more difficult than usual.
I wanted to be indignant that with glam in the album - in any way, but here it was found in Twisted Little Sister
