Two CD pressing. With stirring music by Benny Andersson and lyrics by Björn Ulvaeus of ABBA fame, this moving musical production has won awards, critical acclaim and is the most popular musical theater piece in Swedish history. This album is a live recording from the US premiere of the show at Carnegie Hall in 2009. This historical performance features a cast of over 30 performers led by the original Kristina. Helen Sjoholm, together with Russell Watson, Louise Pitre, Kevin Odekirk and Symphony Orchestra and Choir conducted by Paul Gemignani.
