Description:	Angeregt durch die Akademie der Künste Berlin fuhren der polnische Dokumentarist Leszek Dawid und der deutsche Filmemacher Matl Findel zwei Sommer lang in das Land des Anderen um Bilder zu finden. Die einzige Einschränkung, auf die sie sich verständigten, war die unbewegte Kamera. Herausgekommen ist ein filmischer Dialog in 25 Bildpaaren, quasi über den nachbarschaftlichen Zaun hinweg geplaudert. Es gibt keine Handlung, keine Geschichte, keine Protagonisten, aber es gibt die Bühne des Lebens, die Komik und Poesie des Alltags und die Freiheit des Schauens. Denn die hochaufgelösten Einstellungen sind zu einem doppelten Spiegel geworden, in dem man sich selbst durch die Augen des Anderen und zugleich den Anderen im Eigenen betrachtet. Das klingt kompliziert, aber man muss wirklich einfach nur schauen.
