Digitally re-mastered edition of this 1974 album. Brazilian-born Purim is one of the most influential Jazz singers of the 1970s and beyond. She moved to the United States in the late '60s with her husband, master percussionist Airto Moreira and after working with Stan Getz and Duke Pearson joined Chick Corea in his fusion super-group Return to Forever where she was the voice on the seminal Light As a Feather LP. She then signed a solo deal with Mainstream Records, where she recorded a string of critically-acclaimed albums that cemented her reputation. BGP. 2010.
