Die Gangleader dieser 'Chimeres' ('Geister') sind die Herrscher der Slums, schwer bewaffnet, immer bereit zu töten oder zu sterben. Ihr Leben, ihre letzten Tage zwischen Drogen, Hip Hop, Wa Auf Haiti verliert der linke Volkstribun Aristide die Oberhand im quasi-Bürgerkrieg und stützt seine Macht nur mehr auf die Gewehrläufe der Chimären, hochgerüsteter Streetgangs aus der Cit Soleil, dem größten Armenviertel von Port au Prince. Zu den fünf dort amtierenden Bandenchefs gehören die Brüder 2pac und Bily. Während 2pac zu Aristide hält, hat Bily das Vertrauen in den Präsidenten verloren.
