Description: | 2010 two CD release, the seventh and final album from this band led by Robert Wratten, formerly of the Field Mice and Northern Picture Library. Disc One is the album Fast Trains & Telegraph Wires while Disc Two is a seven track CD EP entitled Cicely Tonight Volume One. Marvels like 'Cold Colours' (one of their best singles in many years) and 'All Our Tomorrows' find the band more intense, organic and spirited than we've heard them up to now, while other tracks give US the more detailed, subtle, melancholy side of the band, one of their trademarks. Elephant.Recorded, mixed and mastered: September 14th 2009 - March 2nd 2010 except CD2-5 recorded and mixed in 2006.
Issued in a gatefold die-cut sleeve. Track durations are not printed on the release.
Track 2-7 is a hidden track and not listed on the artwork. |
