Description:	Eine kleine Stadt an der mauretanischen Küste ist das Casablanca des 21. Jahrhunderts. Hier, zwischen Wüste und Meer, im Hotel Sahara, begegnen sich zahllose Flüchtlinge auf dem Weg nach Europa. Reisende aus allen Staaten südlich der Sahara erreichen diesen Melting-Pot, der seit Jahrzenten Menschenströme aufnimmt und sie über das Meer weiter in Richtung Spanien schickt. Doch was den meisten als hoffnungsvoller Ausgangspunkt für ein neues Leben gilt, erweist sich allzu oft als Endstation der Migrations-Träume. Denn bei dem Versuch, die horrenden Kosten für die lebensgefährliche Überfahrt in kleinen Pirogen aufzutreiben, bleiben unzählige Frauen und Männer in Nouhadibou stecken. Lamiya träumt davon, ein berühmter Fußballheld zu werden. Seinen Fußball würde er über jeden Ozean mitnehmen. Chichis Vater hat sein Land verkauft, um der Tochter die Reise nach Europa zu ermöglichen. Kevin hat die Illusionen über das gelobte europäische Festland bereits aufgegeben, doch kann er auch nicht mit lehren Händen in seine Heimat zurückkehren. - Trailer
