All Four One features the U.S. Top 10 hit 'Only the Lonely', while Little Robbers includes the hit 'Suddenly Last Summer'. The Motels began as an exciting alternative to L.A.'s male-dominated Power Pop and New Wave scenes. Critics and locals loved them but commercial acceptance and success didn't arrive until their third and fourth albums, both of which are contained here. Lead singer Martha Davis dissolved the band in 1987, only to reform again in 1998. BGO. 2009.
