Description:Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this1969 album from the Greek Psych/Prog Rock band including six bonus tracks. Formed in 1967 by keyboard player Vangelis, the band also featured Demis Roussos on bass and vocals and Lucas Sideras on drums. Their classic second album featured the international hit from which the album took it's name. The LP revealed a more experimental side to the band's nature with such Psychedelic gems as 'Funky Mary' and 'Let Me Love, Let Me Live'. This reissue has been remastered from the original tapes and includes six bonus tracks which were released as three singles in 1969 and 1970, including a rare Italian only release.
Tracks 1 to 9 originally released as Mercury 138 351 [r=2014815] in October 1969. Tracks 10 & 11, A & B sides of single released as [r=4585652] in June 1969. Tracks 12 & 13, A & B sides of single released in Italy only as [r=3258230] in January 1969. Tracks 14 & 15, A & B sides of single released as [r=2389065] in August 1970. Remastered at The Audio Archiving Company, London. Additional master tape research at Universal Music Tape Library. All tracks ? 1969 Mercury Records except 14 and 15 ? 1970 Mercury Records. This compilation © 2010 Cherry Red Records under license from Universal Music Operations Ltd. Made in EU NOTE: 2 versions of this release exist, although from the outside they look almost identical. But the booklets are different from each other: most noticable is that in Version 1 Vangelis isn't credited for supervising the remaster project, or isn't 'thanked'. While in Version 2 he is credited and thanked for his "much appreciated assistance with this project". Also the track times for both versions differ slighty. A release issued in a jewel case with clear tray and 16-page booklet.
