Description:	Der einst berühmte Matador Diego kann nach einer schweren Verletzung nicht mehr kämpfen. Jetzt bildet er junge Toreros aus. Sein Schüler Angel, Sohn einer fanatisch-religiösen Mutter, verehrt ihn über alle Maßen. Er versucht, Diegos Freundin zu vergewaltigen, zeigt sich danach selbst an und gesteht auch noch einige Morde. Seine Verteidigerin Maria Cardenal trifft bei ihren Recherchen auf den Matador, dessen heimliche Verehrin sie ist, und beide entdecken ihre Obsession füreinander - und fürs Töten. Bald stellt sich heraus, daß Angel unschuldig ist, aber mit hellseherischer Fähigkeit das Ende seines Meisters in einem Liebesakt mit tödlichem Ausgang voraussieht.
