Digitally remastered edition of the third full-length album by Orange Goblin released in 2000 on Rise Above Records. Following the band's most successful release in America (A Eulogy For the Damned), Orange Goblin returned with the megalithic Back From The Abyss. 'Sabbath Hex' starts the heavy pleasure ride with an infectious melody that is signature Orange Goblin. 'The Devils Whip' and 'Bloodzilla' amp things up with their urgency while 'Heavy Lies The Crown' and 'Blood of Them' showcase the band's respected rock groove.

The Big Black was recorded at Markangelo Studios, London 22nd Nov - 9th December 1999. Mastered at Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, California. The bonus tracks as listed on the back cover are listed incorrectly. The correct playing order is presented in the tracklist section, with "Into The Void" repeat on tracks 11 and 14. "Into The Void" is a Black Sabbath cover. Unlike reissue [r12162019], this version comes in a digipak.
