Derzeit erlebt der Swing in Amerika, in Europa und dem Rest der Welt eine Renaissance. Hier lernen Sie zwei Tanzstile kennen, die vorwiegend in den 20er und 30er Jahren getanzt wurden. Der Lindy Hop ist eine Synthese von Charleston, Jazztanz, Foxtrott und anderen Tänzen. Balboa entstand erstmals Ende der 20er Jahre und war bis in die 40er Jahre Mode. Durch seine enge Tanzhaltung war es der ideale Tanz für volle Tanzflächen und machte Tanzen auf schnelle Musik besonders leicht. Bereichert um Drehungen wie beim Lindy Hop, wird Balboa zum besonders abwechslungsreichen Bal-Swing.
