Die Uraufführung fand am 21. Februar 1962 in Zürich statt. This thought-provoking story delves into the blurred lines between genius and madness, as three physicists reside in a mental institution, each hiding their true identity for reasons that unravel with suspenseful twists. The film stars renowned actors such as Heinz Rühmann, whose illustrious career includes classics like "Der Hauptmann von Köpenick," and features Karl-Heinz Böhm, celebrated for his role in "Peeping Tom." Director Fritz Umgelter is known for his masterful adaptations of literary works for German television and cinema.
