Eugene S. - 23.09.2022 The second studio album by the British-American rock band. Legendary super album! Recommend to all hard rock fans!
| | GUSTAVO F. - 09.08.2021 An epic album, wonderful from beginning to end. Ronnie James Dio at his vocal peak
| | Alexander S. - 12.02.2020 Rising came out even better than Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow’s great debut CD, and at some points it’s especially noticeable - the density of the sound and the more assertive presentation of musical material have increased markedly. If the debut album very often referred to the ancient and powerful depths of rock and roll, then there is almost no such thing on “Rising” - the music is powerful, energetic and very diverse, played in its very best hard rock manifestation. Mr. Dio gave a hell of a hard time at this work - his vocals sound very lively. And since the material turned out to be more assertive and heavy, then listening to it is an order of magnitude more interesting. The opening strongest Tarot Woman number immediately put everything in its place. The next song “Run With The Wolf” reminded at first of the indistinct “Self Portrait” with “Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow”, but when the refrain sounded all these impressions were dispelled - the “staggering” rhythm disappeared somewhere, giving way to a firm and confident swing. The very good short “Do You Close Your Eyes” also left a positive impression, but what followed it turned out to be even more exciting! Long and completely atypical, with epic keys, the composition “Stargazer” looks extremely unexpected, although it fits perfectly into the general concept of the disc, immediately lifting it several steps higher. Well, the ending of the album is just something! Hurricane “Light In The Black”, which must surely be to the taste of all fans of nimble action movies Sabbat and Dio - that's where it all started! And believe me - in the song “Light In The Black” of 1976, the release of drive and incendiaryness is no less than in “Neon Knights” or “Don't Talk To Strangers”! In the end, the album “Rising” is real gold, listening to Dio, Sabbath and Purple and not having in the collection this wonderful record will be a serious omission for any fan of the style. Do not waste your time in search of something new - it will come and go, and classics like “Rising” will remain forever.
| | HYUNG RAE K. - 25.11.2019 This is Rainbow's 2nd studio album. Guitar is Richie Blackmore and Vocal is Ronnie James dio. Drum is Cozy Powell. Perfect Musician.
| | Vagner C. - 12.12.2018 Five stars album of great Rainbow, with the eternal voice of metal, Ronnie James Dio. This is a landmark album and here great songs as the epic Stargazer and tarot Woman. Essential item for rock collectors.
| | Eduardo F. - 20.10.2017 Rainbow at its peak. Stargazer alone would be worth buying this one, but the entire album is a blast.
| | Ivica S. - 29.09.2017 This is a gothic hard rock for me - this is such a unique album as the Beatles album WHITE ALBUM. Album for all time.
| | Andres V. - 10.04.2017 Ronnie James Dio en Rainbow mostrando el sonido que sería característico de la banda, el estilo y la forma de componer que los llevaría a ser reconocidos como una gran banda de rock.
