Eugene S. - 05.09.2024 The eighth studio album by the British hard rock band Rainbow, released on 21 August 1995. Released during the post-grunge scene of the mid-1990s, Stranger in Us All failed to measure up to the critical and commercial acclaim of previous releases and was not particularly well publicized. However, it achieved modest success, particularly in Europe and Japan.
| | Alexander S. - 12.02.2020 After 11 years of oblivion, Rainbow returned. True, in a completely new composition (with the exception, of course, of the unchanged man in black). What could you expect from the new Rainbow, legendary hard rock veterans? With all due respect to the talent of Ritchie Blackmore - only a variation on the past theme. Nothing like this! The new material is striking in its diversity. Newly made riffs and melodies are remembered for a long time and leave the most pleasant experience. The recording quality is also up to par. Add to this all the acoustic gypsy impregnations in the song Black Masqurade and the soulful female vocals in Ariel (for the first time in the history of the group) and you will get a magnificent comeback from the legendary band, which unfortunately ceased to exist after two years. The album certainly deserves to be on a par with the Rainbow classics. And certainly better than some of Richie’s work in Deep Purple. Only the highest score.
| | Ivica S. - 20.05.2018 Rainbow in the 90's - Doogie White continued the Rainbow story as a vocal - everything went well ... I recommend
| | Alexander N. - 06.12.2017 The last Rainbow album, that contains only the original songs. Music is a solid hard rock and despite the abcence of Roger Glover, it sounds good. Ritchie Blackmore is the best as always.
