| | Produzent: |

Eugene S. - 29.01.2025 The second studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush, released on February 1975. Ultimate Classic Rock included the album on their list of the "Top 100 '70s Rock Albums", writing "Neil Peart wasn't just the new drummer; he was the spark that pushed them to greatness."
| | Nebojsa B. - 02.09.2023 Second studio album by Rush, still oriented towards their early hard rock sound but showing great progressive moments where they will be in couple of years. Great remastered edition with very good sound. Comes as simple release and 4 page booklet but to very affordable price so definitely recommended,
| | Alexander S. - 12.02.2020 By the time of the recording of the second album, the composition of this ingenious Canadian band had gained stability forever. Drummer John Ratsi had health problems and Rush was forced to find a replacement for him. No matter how blasphemous it may sound - thank you for this Fortune! Indeed, Neil Peart sat behind the “kitchen”, a man without whom the group would never have reached such heights in modern hard rock. Already, Neal, hung with all possible medals and titles in the field of drumming, admits that he was not particularly enthusiastic about the style of the then Rush. His breathtaking technique would have simply disappeared into ordinary hard rock! And since Gaddy and Alex already had thoughts about changing the style, the arrival of Peart only accelerated the process. In addition, Neil resolutely and forever took upon himself the hard work of the writer of all the texts of the group, which were always outstanding works of real art and, undoubtedly, played a big role in the development of tremendous success. So new acquaintances gathered, for a while forgot about their lack of fire and unexpectedly for all they gave out an absolute masterpiece of prog-hard rock. It was not possible to completely expel the ghost of simple songs in the style of the debut album, but this is absolutely not annoying, on the contrary, the melodic composition "Fly By Night", the marvelous acoustic jingle "Making Memories" and the powerful lazy "In The End" make a certain variety. And here is the rest ... It was on this disc that Rush first brought out their own style and sound that simply hits the listener with the first sounds of "Anthem" - the song that opens the album. The most difficult alloy of hard rock with prog-art, Gaddy's highest vocals, the masterly drum breaks from the Nile, unusual and extremely exciting lyrics - all this magnificence the world heard for the first time here. Indeed, from the pristine beauty of the quiet ballad "Rivendale" or the amazing energy of the action movie "Beneath, Between & Behind" it simply blows the roof. And as a complete P., the first of the “Rush monsters” is presented - a nine-minute and four-part epic “By-Tor And The Snow Dog”. In general, this is not even a step forward, it is only a long jump! Just the second, but already absolutely masterpiece album. It's only the beginning!
| | Vagner C. - 28.10.2018 Rush first era showed the band searching for his own sound and style, which starts in this album. Fly by Night offers a new direction in Rush sound, toward the proggressive rock which made them the major name of Canadian rock.
| | Eduardo F. - 24.10.2017 Early Rush wasn't that focused, but already had some interesting ideas.
| | PAVOL M. - 14.10.2014 Fly By Light is second album of Canadian rock band Rush. It continues from debut: hard rock tracks with young energy, full of Led Zeppelin's inspirations. I prefer progressive rock albums, but Rush is band I love it.
So I collect all studio albums from Rush. Price is very good, remaster "1997" is super.
| | Andraz Z. - 19.06.2014 Another from the Rush Remaster series. Modern mastering with an old sound. Every info from the original artwork seems to be included. The "starman" within the jewelcase tray is nice too - different in every release. Low price, so go for it!!!
| | GIUSEPPE FELICE C. - 21.12.2013 the second album, maybe the most famous of the first part of Rush's career. The shadow of Led Zeppelin is over all, but we can hear the first elements of the real Rush's sound
| | Jose Roberto V. - 06.12.2013 Gran cd de Rush. Todavia no hacian las grandes suits como 2112 pero con By-tor and the snow dog empiezan a cimentar si futuro como gran banda progresiva.
