The timeless chants of the Gregorian chant in contrast to the transience of the improvisation by jazz saxophonist Jürgen Seefelder, which emerges from the moment - this tension is the source of the live recording of a concert by the ensemble officium in the cathedral of the city of Worms. Chants from the mass alternate with prayers, psalms and hymns from the Liturgy of the Hours.
