 | Beschreibung: | Digitally re-mastered and expanded edition including two bonus tracks. In 1973, Barbra Streisand went into the studio to make this album, one of the first (and still considered one of the best) Classical crossover recordings. This unique collection of art songs and arias was originally released in February 1976, with it's striking cover portrait by Francesco Scavullo, and has never gone out of print. Classical Barbra rose to #46 on the Billboard Top 200 chart in 1976 and is certified gold in the U.S. Thirteen-time Grammy- winning producer Steven Epstein re-mastered the original recording for this reissue, the first since it's original CD release in 1987. Most importantly, it contains the first ever release of two additional tracks recorded during the original sessions but never available until now: two of Franz Schubert's best known songs, 'An Sylvia' and 'Auf dem Wasser zu singen.', Runningtime: 00:00:00, Arranged By [Arr.]: Claus Ogerman, Orchestra: Columbia Symphony Orchestra, Photography By: Francesco Scavullo, Producer, Directed By [Under The Direction Of]: Claus Ogerman, Reissue Producer: David Foil, Lyrics By [Words]: Paul Bourget, Music By: Claude Debussy, Lyrics By [Words]: Traditional, Music By: Joseph Canteloube, Lyrics By [Words]: Joseph Von Eichendorff, Music By: Hugo Wolf, Performer [Accompanied By]: Claus Ogerman, Music By: Gabriel Fauré, Lyrics By [Words]: Romain Bussine, Music By: Gabriel Fauré, Lyrics By [Words]: Traditional, Music By: Carl Orff, Lyrics By: Giacomo Rossi, Music By: Georg Friedrich Händel, Lyrics By [Words]: Joseph Von Eichendorff, Music By: Robert Schumann, Performer [Accompanied By]: Claus Ogerman, Lyrics By [Words]: Unknown Artist, Music By: Georg Friedrich Händel, Lyrics By [Words After A Poem By]: ????????? ??????, Music By, Performer [Accompanied By]: Claus Ogerman, Labelcode MSWK192255.2 (88691922552, 88691922552), Phonographic Copyright (p) Sony Music Entertainment, Copyright (c) Sony Music Entertainment, Glass Mastered At Sony DADC | | Produzent: |
