Tangerine Dream with Edgar Froese and Thorsten Quaeschning in its best form. Music is inspired by the novel Angel of the West Window by Gustav Meyrink. The novel is about English alchemist and mystic John Dee and the titles of the tracks are reminiscent of the novel and its heroes. Music is mainly dynamic with trademark TD pulsations and sequences. Not their best work but it's among best later works by Edgar Froese.
The most impressive tracks are "Mysteroius Gift to Mankind", "Silver Boots of Bartlet Green", "Hosanna of the Damned", "Hoël Dhat The Alchemist", "Invisible Seal of the Holy Tribe". In general the album is positive. There are some less interesting track but for the most part it's impressive.
If you like TD sound from the second part of the 80s-early 90s - you'll like this album.
