While I can understand the comparisons to Porcupine Tree (pretty much any new prog band does get compared to them) there is a reason for that. Porcupine Tree is at the top of their game in the genre (although they surpass and are not limited to any particular labels). Pineapple Thief are a good band, don't get me wrong, but the comparisons to Porcupine Tree not only does a disservice to Porcupine Tree, but also the listener that may expect the same level of composition, arrangement and technical proficiency that every member of Porcupine Tree provides.
