Once a minority collector interest, Doo-Wop has since built up and maintained a place in our collective musical consciousness through exposure in films, T.V. and radio. While it's comparative simplicity helped it become a welcome antidote to the much more contrived and often over-orchestrated music of subsequent decades. Our compilation certainly boasts all of the best-known songs. Early recognisable hits stand out by dint of their fine vocal performances, as the groups would spend considerable amounts of time honing their skills before venturing into the rudimentary studios where they recorded. Here you will find youthful enthusiasm and talent, shown at it's best on these catchy and memorable songs.
