Die CD bietet neu gemasterte Tracks voller aggressiver Riffs und futuristischer Themen; auf der DVD finden sich seltene Live-Auftritte sowie exklusives Behind-the-Scenes-Material ? ein Muss für Fans der frühen Bandjahre! Gegründet wurde Voivod 1982 im kanadischen Québec und sie erlangten internationale Anerkennung durch ihre innovative Mischung aus Thrash Metal mit Punk-Einflüssen und Science-Fiction-Konzepten. Mit Alben wie ?Dimension Hatröss?, ?Nothingface? oder ?The Wake? haben sie Kultstatus erreicht. Proof to the extreme metal skeptic that faster is not always better, in this somewhat-of-a-speedbump-of-a-record, we have a 1985-era (alas, if only for them to have released it as fast as they appear to have performed and recorded it) Voivod blitzing through another set of their classics at seemingly DRI-influenced tempos throughout.
