John Wetton (1949-2017) war ein britischer Musiker, der vor allem als Bassist und Sänger der Progressive-Rock-Bands King Crimson und Asia bekannt war. Er war auch ein gefragter Sessionmusiker und arbeitete mit Künstlern wie Roxy Music, Uriah Heep und Brian Eno zusammen. Wetton war bekannt für seine kraftvolle Stimme, sein virtuoses Bassspiel und seine einprägsamen Melodien.
Cherry Red Records ist ein britisches Plattenlabel, das sich auf die Wiederveröffentlichung von klassischer Rock- und Popmusik spezialisiert hat.
