Dmytro N. - 18.06.2024 This is my favorite album from Whitesnake! Don't brake my heart again is the best song!
| | Volha K. - 08.11.2022 Originally Whitesnake "Come An Get It" was released in 1981, when I was fifteen and as for me is the best, most drive, most dynamic Whitesnake. And especially for girls "Come An Get It" is the most heartbreaking album including all the hits as Don't Break My Heart Again, Lonely Days, Lonely Nights, Wine, Women An' Song,Girl.
Great album, great remastering edition with nice sound and six bonus tracks.
| | Evgeny K. - 23.02.2021 Classics abound on this one, my number one hit being of course 'don t break my heart again' with this beautiful solo. But ok, what is there to say, except it has not aged in decades, the sound is great
| | Alexander S. - 12.06.2019 Commerce, I must say, a terrible thing and can spoil any group and any original phenomenon. But what is surprising is that Whitesnake, led by Coverdale, manages not only not to suffer from this, but on the contrary, to acquire some new qualities, skillfully using the degree of sound commercialization that changes from album to album. Sometimes it works great (as in Slide it In), sometimes not so much, as here. And the album is nothing bad. On the contrary - it was a huge success, much bigger than “Ready an 'Willing” (1980), but judging from the point of view of the filling, I must say that there is a decline here. Which one So:
To begin with, we put on the guitars - here they sound somehow detached, you see, it’s not for nothing that the branded snake on the cover is enclosed in a crystal apple - here it is, Whitesnake, right in front of you, come on, get it - “Come and Get it”!
Then - in general, the songs began to have a very pronounced commercial color, it was always with “The Serpent”, but for the first time it was so bright (it will continue to be even brighter, but further and in places it even benefits, as in “1987”) .
Nevertheless, there is nothing to blame the album for - it is literate, albeit slightly muffled by the sound of the guitars, but it’s good in its own way and, of course, it has not been without unforgettable hits - here, first of all, this is “Don't Break My Heart Again, ”and I would also point out“ Lonely Days, Lonely Nights ”and a good (but not the best)“ Till the Day I Die ”. So everything is at a rather high level, but I highly recommend not listening to this album after “Ready an 'Willing” - it may not like it very much.
| | Ivica S. - 11.03.2018 Excellent price - great edition - Mickey, Bernie, Jon & Ian, Neil, David - great album - excellent members - excellent bonus songs - I recommend
| | Andraz Z. - 23.11.2015 Re-master of the strong bluesy hard rock album from 1981. It includes few bonus tracks with rough/alternate mixes, a nice gift for the fans.
