 | Beschreibung: | Bob Davenport, one of the early pioneers of the English folk revival of the 1960s, was renowned on both sides of the Atlantic for his uncompromisingly gritty talent which produced raw nuggets of political and poetic realism. He was never one to court fashion, and his unique vision had a profound influence on a generation of such disparate artists as Richard Thompson and Ray Davies of the Kinks. When word got out that Topic was recording a new Davenport album, a line formed from the cream of the current folk scene who where jumping at the chance to paticipate and pay their respects. The final cut includes guitar instrumental endpieces by Richard Thompson, and vocal contributions from Linda Thompson among many others., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Engineer: John Tams, Engineer: Oliver Knight, Lead Vocals: Bob Davenport, Producer: Jim Boyes, Acoustic Guitar: Richard Thompson, Written-By: Richard Thompson, Accompanied By: Chumbawamba, Backing Vocals: Jim Boyes, Backing Vocals: Mike Waterson, Written-By: Bob Davenport, Written-By: Ernest Charles Jones, Written-By: Bob Davenport, Accompanied By: Chumbawamba, Backing Vocals: Jim Boyes, Backing Vocals: Mike Waterson, Written-By: William Blake, Acoustic Guitar: Martin Carthy, Arranged By: Martin Carthy, Written-By: Traditional, Arranged By: Bob Davenport, Harmony Vocals: Norma Waterson, Written-By: Traditional, Backing Vocals: Linda Thompson, Written-By: Bob Davenport, Written-By: Traditional, Arranged By: Padraic Colum, Written-By: Traditional, Backing Vocals: Barry Coope, Backing Vocals: Jim Boyes, Backing Vocals: Lester Simpson, Backing Vocals, Ukulele: John Tams, Written-By: Jimmie Davis, Arranged By: Bob Davenport, Written-By: Traditional, Lead Vocals: Linda Thompson, Written-By: Anonymous, Written-By: Anna McGarrigle, Accompanied By: Chumbawamba, Written-By: Bertolt Brecht, Arranged By: Bob Davenport, Written-By: John Scott (33), Acoustic Guitar: Martin Carthy, Arranged By: Martin Carthy, Written-By: Traditional, Arranged By: Bob Davenport, Written-By: Traditional, Written-By: Bob Davenport, Backing Vocals: Jim Boyes, Backing Vocals: Lester Simpson, Backing Vocals: Mike Waterson, Backing Vocals: Jim Boyes, Backing Vocals: Lester Simpson, Lead Vocals: Linda Thompson, Written-By: Bob Davenport, Arranged By: Bob Davenport, Written-By: Thomas Hardy, Accompanied By: Chumbawamba, Backing Vocals: Jim Boyes, Written-By: Bob Davenport, Backing Vocals: Barry Coope, Backing Vocals: Fi Fraser, Backing Vocals: Jim Boyes, Backing Vocals: John Tams, Backing Vocals: Lester Simpson, Music By: Kurt Weill, Words By: Bertolt Brecht, Arranged By: Bob Davenport, Written-By: Traditional, Acoustic Guitar: Martin Carthy, Arranged By: Bob Davenport, Arranged By: Martin Carthy, Arranged By: Norma Waterson, Harmony Vocals: Norma Waterson, Written-By: Traditional, Backing Vocals: Jim Boyes, Backing Vocals: Lester Simpson, Written-By: Harry Lauder, Acoustic Guitar: Richard Thompson, Written-By: Richard Thompson, Labelcode TPC552.2 (TSCD552), Recorded At Panda Sound, Recorded At Woodman Studios, Recorded At The Bench, Derbyshire | | Produzent: |
