2011 collection from the British Rock 'n' Roll legend. Included alongside eight of Marty's biggest hits are a handful of other contemporaneous singles; a half-dozen or so tracks from the critically-acclaimed Wilde About Marty LP; and a real collectors' rarity, 'My Baby Is Gone (Stop This World)', which he recorded in New York in 1960. By far the most convincing of the first generation of UK Rock'n'Rollers, Marty Wilde has proved to be both a versatile and enduring talent. Indeed, in a career which is now well into it's sixth decade, he remains a hugely popular and active live performer, as affirmed by the success of his 50th Anniversary compilation CD, Born to Rock'n'Roll - the Greatest Hits, which restored him to the UK charts a couple of years back.
