Included alongside eight of Marty's biggest hits are a handful of other contemporaneous singles; a half-dozen or so tracks from the critically-acclaimed Wilde About Marty LP; and a real collectors' rarity, 'My Baby Is Gone (Stop This World)', which he recorded in New York in 1960. By far the most convincing of the first generation of UK Rock'n'Rollers, Marty Wilde has proved to be both a versatile and enduring talent.
