In the 17 years since her passing, Eva's musical gift to the world is contained in her nine album catalog. The Best of Eva Cassidy contains 19 tracks taken from those nine albums plus a belated surprise in the form of a previously unreleased version of "You Take My Breath Away," recorded shortly before Eva left US in 1996 but never heard until now. A 'demo' version of "You Take My Breath Away" concluded Eva's UK #1 album American Tune but this alternative interpretation takes the song to new emotional heights.
