Este influyente disco de hip hop destaca por las habilidades líricas y el vertiginoso flow del artista con temas emblemáticos como ?Still Not a Player?, ?Twinz (Deep Cover '98)? y ?You Came Up?. El álbum fusiona el hardcore rap neoyorquino con influencias latinas propias del origen puertorriqueño del artista y marcó nuevos estándares técnicos dentro del género urbano estadounidense al convertirse también en el primer disco solista latino certificado Platino en Estados Unidos tras su gran éxito comercial y crítico.
Relativity Records ha sido desde su fundación en 1985 una plataforma clave para artistas innovadores provenientes tanto del underground como emergentes hacia audiencias más amplias gracias al apoyo constante e impulso creativo que ofrece el sello discográfico norteamericano.
Big Punisher ?nombre real Christopher Rios? nació y creció en el Bronx neoyorquino donde se destacó rápidamente por sus complejos juegos rítmicos y carisma escénico único; colaboró con figuras como Fat Joe o Nas consolidando así su legado antes de fallecer prematuramente en el año 2000 convirtiéndose hasta hoy día en referente indiscutible entre los grandes exponentes líricos del movimiento urbano global. | | | Productor: |
