Digitally remastered and expanded digipak reissue of this album, originally released in 1987. This album proved to be the band's commercial breakthrough and features the hit 'This Corrosion'. This reissue has been remastered directly from the original studio tapes and has now been bolstered with four bonus tracks: 'Torch', 'Colors', 'Never Land' (Full Length) and 'Emma'. Merciful. 2006.

Issued in a six panel Digipak with a clear tray and with a twenty page staple bound booklet containing liner notes, lyrics and credits. The booklet holding pocket is printed black inside and has a die cut thumb section. Package came shrink-wrapped. Tracks 1-8 originally issued as Merciful Release album [url=http://www.discogs.com/Sisters-Of-Mercy-Floodland/release/313899]MR441[/url] (13/11/87). Tracks 9-10 B-sides of "[r=142871]" (Merciful Release single MR039(T)) (9/87) and subsequently appended to the original [r=2295948] CD. Track 11 is a previously unreleased outtake from the [m=2836] sessions. Track 12 was recorded 1/88 and issued as a B-side of "[r=142877]" (Merciful Release single MR043T) (2/88). Eugene S. - 03/Aug/2023 The second studio album by English gothic rock band the Sisters of Mercy. It was released on 16 November 1987. Floodland reached number nine on the UK Albums Chart. Preorders alone assured the album silver certification on the day of its release, and on 11 March 1988 it was certified gold in the UK by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for selling 100,000 units.

Vesa H. - 17/Sep/2019 Their second album, somehow I think this is the weakest, if you can say so, First and Last & Vision thing are the best, however this is a good album but compared to the other two albums. Re-issue versions are all nice looking digipaks with lot of bonus tracks worth your attention.
