The second studio album by English gothic rock band the Sisters of Mercy. It was released on 16 November 1987. Floodland reached number nine on the UK Albums Chart. Preorders alone assured the album silver certification on the day of its release, and on 11 March 1988 it was certified gold in the UK by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for selling 100,000 units.

Their second album, somehow I think this is the weakest, if you can say so, First and Last & Vision thing are the best, however this is a good album but compared to the other two albums. Re-issue versions are all nice looking digipaks with lot of bonus tracks worth your attention.
