PArt two of a concept album started with the strong previous opus "Mystery of Time". We meet again Aaron and his sould divided between the sharp and comfortable offer of a rational knowledge and the luminous but uncertain light of a vision based on faith, feelings and a more human (less mechanic) approach to "Time". Around this story, a temple of voices, as usual. Lande and Kiske always main pillars of this powerful, rock, surrounding architecture. A strong immediate first half of the disc is followed by a less impressive but at last, made of good inspiration, second half. A mature work, not because of any innovative approach: it's Avantasia, and Sammet is speaking us through a common musical language we all know after so many years. What definitively counts is that we still "feel" it. Recommended!
