I am not inclined to overestimate and speak flatteringly about a performer, only because of his better past, while belittling the present, but... “Motorizer” - the next album of the legendary British trio, is, like 10 and 20 years ago the same cheerful rock and roll heavy without any visible deviations or new elements.
I think that you can write a retsu for the 2000 album and apply it to all subsequent work of Motörhead and be right in everything. The same rattling bass of Kilmister, with his elegantly hoarse voice, Mickey’s drums have the same dry, clearly defined beat, and Campbell’s cuts, complementing the overall picture, turn the material into 11 road biker sagas.
It’s good that “Motors” still release albums with enviable consistency, because You have to be able to do absolutely the same thing year after year and at the same time manage not to be simply boring.
