I liked the album. Even more than A Fine Day to Exit, where everything was simply saturated with doom and hopelessness. In the new release of the British, only light sadness is visible, which spurs interest in life. It's nice to listen to this album while drinking wine and wrapping yourself in a warm soft plaid. Beautiful melodies remotely resembling Radiohead and vocals in places are very much like Tom York. There are notes from Prog Rock (Opeth 'Damnation', for example, will listen very well after it). But, oddly enough, one of the songs (namely, Pulled Under At 2000 Meters A Second) somehow reminded me of Sympho Black in mood. Perhaps the scream, almost turning into scream, influenced my impression, and the melody itself is very disposed to this. If you do not have your own lullaby yet, you can safely take this disc and make it out of it (lullaby).

darker, maybe more complex as far as the songwriting is concerned, and besides, the song 'A Natural Disaster' is so perfect that I decently cannot underrate it

Anathema might have changed a lot in their style of music throughout the years but this album remains a classic! Extremely atmospheric and moody songs, soft voices and a taste of lingering love!
