Sergey S. - 29/Jan/2022 In the second half of the 80th many serious bands flirted with the "new" cloudy" wave”, used synthesised guitars, etc. Judas Priest also did not escape this fate. As a result, "Turbo" appeared - another mediocre album with some unintelligible sound.
The creative crisis is clearly protracted.
| | Jose Guilherme D. - 01/May/2019 Very good CD! It has very cool hard rock anthems, but it´s not so heavy as "Defenders of the Faith" and "Screaming For Vengeance".
| | Ivica S. - 14/Oct/2018 10th album - in a MTV period - Judas Priest very very good album - I recommend
| | Alexander S. - 25/Sep/2018 Very controversial album of JUDAS PRIEST. After the release of such reference albums as "Screaming ..." (1982) & "Defenders ..." (1984), the group changes their orientation towards more commercial sound. This, first of all, producing the album, which had a clearly pronounced course for the North American market. In terms of music - using such fashion elements as synthesizers and a drum machine, the group acquired a more "synthetic" sound. The style changed to "glamorous"; Instead of skin and chains - akin to space suits. But, despite the pre-pop sound, the album's material is always at a high level; trio Tipton / Halfford / Downing have not forgotten how to write hits. These are such strong compositions as Turbo Lover, Private Property, Out in the Cold, Reckess. In general, the album "Turbo" corresponds to the spirit of its time and has its pluses too.
| | Eduardo F. - 20/Oct/2017 Much malligned for being a more AOR/hard rock oriented record, Turbo is a good album anyways. For those who have an open minded.
| | Volodymyr Z. - 06/Aug/2015 Super album from super band! Very nice edition-good sound, good booklet!
