The creative crisis is clearly protracted.

| | | Alexander S. - 2018年 09月 25日 Very controversial album of JUDAS PRIEST. After the release of such reference albums as "Screaming ..." (1982) & "Defenders ..." (1984), the group changes their orientation towards more commercial sound. This, first of all, producing the album, which had a clearly pronounced course for the North American market. In terms of music - using such fashion elements as synthesizers and a drum machine, the group acquired a more "synthetic" sound. The style changed to "glamorous"; Instead of skin and chains - akin to space suits. But, despite the pre-pop sound, the album's material is always at a high level; trio Tipton / Halfford / Downing have not forgotten how to write hits. These are such strong compositions as Turbo Lover, Private Property, Out in the Cold, Reckess. In general, the album "Turbo" corresponds to the spirit of its time and has its pluses too.
