Eloy nació en Hannover en el año 1969 y pronto se consolidó como referente absoluto dentro del panorama alemán gracias a sus conceptos imaginativos y arreglos exuberantes; discos como ?Silent Cries And Mighty Echoes?, ?Dawn? o especialmente ?Ocean? marcaron hitos fundamentales e influyeron decisivamente sobre generaciones posteriores dentro del ámbito prog mundialmente considerado.
