"Stationary Traveller" es un cautivador álbum de estudio del grupo británico de rock progresivo Camel lanzado originalmente en 1984 y disponible ahora en formato CD. Este disco conceptual explora temas como la división y el anhelo inspirados por la época del Muro de Berlín; combina pasajes instrumentales envolventes con letras emotivas y arreglos sofisticados donde destacan sintetizadores atmosféricos y guitarras melódicas características del sonido único de Camel; canciones como ?West Berlin?, ?Long Goodbyes? o el tema homónimo muestran su capacidad para contar historias musicales llenas de emoción e imaginación. Camel se formó en 1971 y rápidamente alcanzó reconocimiento internacional dentro del género progresivo gracias a su destreza instrumental y composiciones creativas: discos emblemáticos como ?The Snow Goose? (1975) o ?Moonmadness? (1976) consolidaron una base fiel de seguidores alrededor del mundo entero. This is by far the best Camel album since "Rain Dances", if not the best at all. There is no flirting with "serious" music and attempts to play "fusion". "Stationary Traveler" is just good music that doesn't bother or bother, that is made with feeling and taste, and that needs a thoughtful listener.

A nice and low priced Decca reissue of one of the best albums (released in 1984) from English progressive rock band Camel. It is a concept album centering on the trials of East German refugees attempting to cross the Berlin Wall. Really extraordinary thing, both in music and lyrics. Buy without any doubt!
